| Richard Young the Magician! |
Richard the Magician came to the Grade 1 classes today and taught us about colours. He put primary colours in a magic washing machine box and dumped out a secondary colour. He blew up a balloon and the balloon changed from being
opaque to
translucent and then he POPPED it and a bird named Rainbow came out! He used a box and pulled out different colours then what he had put in the box. He had a crayon box and pulled out ribbons that were different colours! We learned that years ago people used food and things like grass to make colours. We got to pet Rainbow on the way out. Richard the Magician taught us a lot about colours.
Our sight word lists went home today. Please read it!
