It is Bat Week!
We are learning about bats this week! We looked at some books and recorded our information. We know that bats have the ability to fly and they can hang upside down in a tree. Bats live in a colony. Some bats have horns on their noses. Some have big ears to hear the sounds that point back at them. We call that echolocation. Bats can see in the dark. Bats are good hunters. Some bats drink blood from pigs and cows. The animals can't even feel it when the bat bites them! There are a lot of species of bats! Bats fly super fast. Fruit bats use their senses to find ripe fruits. Some bats eat insects.

It is fall!
Welcome back! We used the Draw & Tell on the ipads for science. We had to draw a picture of the fall season. In the fall, the leaves fall off the trees and on the ground. Sometimes, it snows in the fall. People dress in warm clothes and winter boots and gloves. We rake up leaves. Animals hibernate, which means they sleep for the winter. Some animals, like geese, fly south. Animals change colours in the fall.
We went to gym The tower gardens are growing and we saw the plants!
